A customs document permitting the passage of the goods

| CFR |
|
Abbreviation for “Cost and Freight”. Delivery
where the freight and insurance are not paid until the port of destination. |
| CIF |
|
Abbreviation for “Cost, Insurance and Freight”.
In this type of sale, the seller assumes the same obligations as specified
in the term CFR, but it is obliged to procure marine insurance against
the loss of or damage to the goods during transportation. The seller
executes an insurance contract and pays the premiums thereof. CIF
requires execution of export clearance transactions by the seller.

| CLEAN BILL OF LADING |
|
A receipt for goods issued by a carrier with an indication
that the goods were received in apparent good order and condition
without any damage or shortage. Unless otherwise specified, the Bill
of Lading is assumed to be “cleaned”.

|
1. Customs Clearance. 2. Maximum permitted size for
passing of loaded vehicles through over or below such locations as
bridges, tunnels and the like. |

| COMMERCIAL INVOICE |

A commercial document.representing a complete record
of the transaction between exporter and importer and serves as basis
for all other documents arranged regarding the goods which are carried.

| CONSIGNEE |
|
A person or company who is authorized to take delivery
of the goods carried. |
| CONSIGNMENT |
|
1. A stock of merchandise shipped to a place designated
by intermediary with the title to the goods belonging to the producer.
2. Loading of the goods for shipment to the consignee.

|
A person designated as the shipper on the Bill of Lading.

|

| DAF |
|
Abbreviation for “Delivered at Frontier”.
Delivery at the frontier by indicating the place of destination. Delivery
at the frontier with export customs clearance transactions completed
at the place designated, but it means that the obligations of the
seller have ceased after the goods are made available for delivery
at a location or point stated before the customs frontier of the neighbouring
country. |

Abbreviation for “Destination Delivery Charge”.
Costs of delivery at the place of arrival. These are the costs applied
for lots of cargo tariff depending on the container size. These costs
are added as auxiliary cost to the marine freight. Gate fee is included
for unloading from the ship by way of crane, transportations with
heavy trucks within the terminal and terminal operations. |

|
Abbreviation for “Delivered Duty Paid”.
Delivery with place of destination named and customs duties paid in
the importing country. It means that the seller’s obligation
to deliver the goods shall have been fulfilled after the goods are
made available for delivery at the place of destination designated
in the importing country. The seller assumes any and all risks and
costs in addition to the taxes and other accruals including customs
duties at the moment of delivery with customs transactions of the
goods completed. While the term EXW represents minimum responsibility
for the seller, the term DDP represents maximum responsibility. |

|
Abbreviation for “Delivered Duty Unpaid”.
Delivery with customs duties unpaid. It means that the seller’s
obligation to deliver the goods shall have been fulfilled after the
goods are made available for delivery at the place of destination
designated in the importing country. The seller has to bear all the
costs involved in bringing the goods thereto (except the customs duties,
taxes and other payable importation fees). The buyer assumes any additional
costs which may arise and the risks which may occur due to insufficient
customs exit transactions.

|
Carriage from door to door. Realization of any and all
carriage transactions from the moment at which the goods are received
from the consignor up to the moment of their delivery to the consignee.
It is also known as transportation from house to house.

charge on the board. Delivery at the specified port of loading. It
means that the seller’s obligations are fulfilled upon delivery
of the goods on the board of the ship at the designated port of loading.
As of the said point, the buyer assumes any and all costs and risks
against any loss of or damage to the goods. FOB requires that the
export clearance transactions should be carried out by the seller. |
